But how do we make it work for us even more? Repurpose it.

Firstly, you need a website before you can make use of these low cost Internet marketing strategies. So go create one or hire a web developer. It will display your products and services. This will be used in employing the following Internet marketing techniques.

1. Affiliate Marketing

This is the process of recruiting a network of smaller websites known as affiliates to drive targeted traffic to a website. Ad copy and links will be provided by the advertisers. You will have to pay a certain percentage of the sales profit to your affiliates.

Search Engine Marketing

Happy Good Friday!

Women in Business, are you ready to learn more on search engine blogging?  Today, I am sharing a lengthy article on search engine blogging that I think will be very beneficial.

All bloggers know that a well-written, entertaining
and focused blog can generate huge volumes of traffic
from visitors. This is one of the basic learnings in
blogging: blogs should be focused and centered on a
topic and other related issues.

Search engine marketing is simply the process of
getting your blog and its content sufficiently high
ranking in several search engines for your keywords.
This would enable your content to generate more
visitors to your site from SERPs or Search Engine
Results Pages. Attention-grabbing content titles and
sites help users to feel compelled to click on your
link in the search engine results pages and eventually
visit you.

Additionally, search engine marketing needs a Web site
that is optimized for search engines. Normally, this
is a Web site that can display a configuration setting
that makes it look interesting to search engine
spiders. In turn, the spiders will visit the site and
look at your content. After doing this, the spiders
then pick up significant keywords, which determine the
characteristic of your page. Lastly, the content
returns to the search engines for the purpose of being
indexed.

Enhancing Search Engine Marketing

Nowadays, blogs are making tons of small news Web
sites or mini content centers that contain significant
information and links. Compared in the past, search
engines visit major news Web sites since they were the
ones who were the ultimate sources for the newest
content to be found online. Blogs have outpaced
several media outlets online due to their capability
to deliver and publish fresh information to the public
faster.

The key in getting noticed more by the search engines
is to publish faster. Since search engines looks for
the freshest, high value and relevant information, it
is important for you to publish frequently. This would
get your blog more visits from major search engines
and others.

Blogs have a natural relationship with search engines.
Since blogs are natural search engine magnets, the
search engine spiders will visit your blog often if
they detect an update from it. In addition, the
content of your blog does not have to wait for months
before getting into search engine result pages but
instead, your content will be displayed in a matter of
hours or days.

It is important to know how much the search engine can
do for your blog. Blogs should be frequently updated
to allow the search engine spider to visit you often,
since they are normally programmed to visit your blog
as often as you publish fresh contents.

Reasons Why Blogs Rank Well in Search Results

Firsly, blogs are designed to meet the demands for
search traffic and search engines. Blogs are also
highy significant in their niches and are considered
as the best sources of the most up-to-date information
online. More so, blogs can be keyword optimized.
Keyword optimization helps blogs achieve high rankings
in search engine results. Additionally, wisely
distributing the keywords evenly on the content can
also help your blog rank easily on search engine
results.

Compared to Web sites, blogs are also text-rich
publishing tools. This only means that the code used
by blogs is light weight. This makes your blog’s
content highly visible to search engines. Search
engine spiders can visit your blog frequently and
crawl over your content faster because of greater
clarity. This clarity provides a vivid interpretation
of what the content of your blog is all about!

Have an Awesome Easter!

Why Blog And How!

Hi,

Hope everyone is enjoying the beginning of April and getting into business activity with Spring!

Wanted to publish some information on blogging especially for people who may not know how yet or just need some help in getting started.

Basically, blogs were first introduced as weblogs that refer to a “server’s log file.” It was created when web logging hit the virtual market. Since its inception in the mid-1990s, web logging gradually saturated the virtual community making the Internet a viable source of greater information.

However, with web logging, you still need a web site and domain names, but with blogging, you do not need anything but just an account with blog providers. In most cases, these kinds of blogs are free of charge.

With the onset of blogging in the industry, personal journaling had been a common ground for people who wish to be known all over the world. However, not literally famous as this is not a case on being popular or well-known personality.

Generally, blogs are created for personal use. Like a journal, people can write their daily adventures, sentiments, and whatever ideas they want to express online.

Nevertheless, with the advent of the online businesses, blogs had gradually taken the limelight in providing businesses a chance to boost their productivity online. This is where the business blogs have taken the limelight.

Business blogs are, basically, created to advertise the services or products of a certain web site or online business in order to increase online sales.

Moreover, business blogs are also one way of promoting the company so that the other readers will know that a certain company exists online. With blogs, entrepreneurs are able to establish a name in the virtual market through articles that can be very useful in the reader’s life.

From there, you can make money out of blogs by simply syndicating it to your business’ web site. This can be done through the RSS technology.

So, if you are thinking to create a blog, whether for business or for pleasure, you need to know some tips that could help you get through and make your blog one of the interesting blogs online.

Here’s how:

1. Consider your audience

Even if your blog is generally personal, still, it would be better to consider the minds of your readers. You have to think of something that would interest them.

After all, most of the reasons of people who write blogs are not at all confined to their own personal motives. Most of them would love to be “heard” (or read) and would love to be known, in some way or another, even for just a minute. Hence, it is very important to come with a write up that everybody can understand, not necessarily that these people can relate to it but they can understand it.

2. Pictures speaks a thousand words

To make your blogging worth the browsing effort of your readers, it would be extremely nice if you will put some pictures in it. It does not necessarily mean you have to place a picture of yourself. Any photographs will do as long as it does not pose danger or insult to anyone who will be reading your blog.

3. Make constructive and beneficial blogs

Even if you are free to write anything you want to say to the world, still, it would be better to create some write-ups that would be beneficial to your readers.

After all, its information technology that you have there so better be inclined to provide information rather than sheer quirky entertainment.

4. Avoid making multifaceted and complicated blogs

In order to have an interesting blogs, try not to use some highly technical and highfalutin words. After all, it is not a science discourse or a debate that you are making, so better stick to simple facts and short blogs.

Bear in mind that most people who use the Internet usually do more scanning than scrutinizing each site word for word. Therefore, it would be better to come with blogs that will not bore your readers just because you have these lengthy articles.

5. Make it interactive

As much as possible and if your capacity will allow it, make your blog interactive. You can do this by placing some video or audio clips in your blog.

You can even place an area for comments or for some feed backs. In this way, you can get some impressions or reactions of other people. Who knows, you might even gain some friends just by making them feel at home in your blog site.

Indeed, blogs are not created just for the mere fun of it. It also has its own purpose in the world of the Internet.
Therefore, for people who wish to harness their craft, as far as writing is concerned, blogs are the best way to do it.

As they say, blogging is the contemporary term of creative and commercial writing.

Blog Networking to Build Business

Recently, I met Sheri Carpenter on one of my social media sites.  She is an awesome networking mom with blogs.  I asked Sheri if she would write a post for me regarding blogging for business!  Sheri agreed very graciously and now I would like for you to enjoy and maybe learn some things about blogging that you may not know!!!
By Sheri Carpenter from Miracle Momas

http://miraclemomas.com

As we all see the growing number of blogs on the internet today you can notice that many of them are business blogs.   Blogging is a great way to build your business because it allows you to interact with your customers and offer them more detailed information than when they visit your website.  But it doesn’t stop there, you must network to get visitors to your blog.

Networking with other bloggers is vital to increasing your own blog exposure.  Bloggers have a very powerful voice on the internet, especially Mom bloggers.  They can really get the word out about your blog and your business.

When thinking about networking with other bloggers you first need to consider what type of bloggers do you want to network with.  Find other bloggers within your niche.  The most important thing to remember is that networking is a two way street.  You will need to stay focused and visit these blogs more than one time.

When visiting other blogs use their follow buttons if they have them, leave a relevant comment on a post they have written, not just a comment that says, “hey I am now following you” Or ” I like your blog”.  Really pay attention to what they are writing about and leave a comment that relates to the post your read.  Comments are the way bloggers know you are really reading what they are saying and is the best way to interact with people reading your blog as well.  Always be sure to leave your name (at least a first name) and the url to your blog when leaving a comment and say something like, “I would love it if you would come check me out too.”  This will really help to increase your reader base and traffic as well as rankings.

Always be sure to visit the blog of readers that visit you if they have one.  Revisit blogs on a weekly basis so you can stay in touch and keep up with what is going on as well as learn more about that blogger and build a good relationship with them.  Relationships are the key to building any business and what a better way to build that relationship than to read their blogs and interact with them.

Networking Offline and Passive Marketing Locally

Hello to Everyone,

I have been sharing a lot lately about online marketing, social media marketing, etc. but today I will share regarding passive marketing.

There are a lot of net workers who just haven’t gotten the hang of internet marketing or don’t feel comfortable being online.  So, today, we will look at passive marketing in the local area.

I built my business by networking locally and doing a lot of passive marketing.  For those of you who may not know what passive marketing is – - when you leave a trail of fliers, business cards, etc. with your business information in different locations without really talking to people.  Also, you can tell a clerk, etc. you would like to give them one of your cards to share with others.  This creates curiosity causing that individual to look at your business.

There are many ways to be creative with what you hand out, post on bulletin boards, etc.  I am going to list a few ideas below that hopefully you will find helpful and fun in marketing in your local area or when you might be traveling!

————————————————————————————————————————-

#1. Take a small zip close baggie (snack sizes work well) and include the following in it:

Your Business Card, Business Oppty Mini Flyer, a Piece of Candy such as hard candy or a lollipop, mini flyer of current host specials, discount coupon (optional) etc.

Hand these out to the bank tellers, retail cashiers, at your kids sport events, every where you go!

*******************

2. Daycare Centers! They are excellent to contact and leave business cards and/or fliers at!

********************

#3. Network with others in your community who are in home business. Find out what events and activities that they participate in. They are usually “in the know” and can help you get started in networking in your community.

********************

4. Wear a business name tag every time you go out into your community! Get a Catchy Slogan printed on it such as:

A. Ask me about (your company name) Products!

B. I work from home, you can too!

C. Earn some FREE when you party with me!

***********************

#5. Get some Business Card Magnets printed up and hand them out every where you go! Have your friends & family pass them out too!  ( Visit: http://www.vistaprint.com)

**********************

#6. Get a Yard Sign! If you have a home business consider getting a Yard Sign printed up and proudly display it in your front yard!   (Visit:  http://www.vistaprint.com)

**********************

#7. Exchange Business Cards, Fliers or Coupons with another Home Party Consultant in a NON-Competing Business and place her filler in your bags & outgoing packages & have her do the same for you! Sort of “scratching each others backs”.

*************************

#8. When you travel take numerous catalogs, flyers, business cards etc. with you when you pack for your trip. Make up a separate tote bag just for these items. Leave you catalogs, flyers and business cards ever where you go while on your trip.

ie. back of train seats, back of airplane seats, hotel lobbies, restaurants, sporting events, etc…where-ever. This is a great way to target non-local customers and interest in your business.

I believe these 8 ideas will help you get started marketing successfully in the local market.  Do an internet search for local marketing ideas and you will be amazed at all that is shared.
