Make use of your online power – through Internet marketing. Here are simple methods that you may employ to boost the visibility of your business without shelling out more than what you can afford. However, these techniques need patience and some footwork to produce agreeable results.

Firstly, you need a website before you can make use of these low cost Internet marketing strategies. So go create one or hire a web developer. It will display your products and services. This will be used in employing the following Internet marketing techniques.

1. Affiliate Marketing

This is the process of recruiting a network of smaller websites known as affiliates to drive targeted traffic to a website. Ad copy and links will be provided by the advertisers. You will have to pay a certain percentage of the sales profit to your affiliates.

3. Newsletters

Sending out newsletters to your subscribers (those who signed up for your newsletters) will help greatly in establishing a good working relationship with your customers or prospective customers. It has to be short, sweet, consistent and written for a general audience.

Why Blog And How!

Hi,

Hope everyone is enjoying the beginning of April and getting into business activity with Spring!

Wanted to publish some information on blogging especially for people who may not know how yet or just need some help in getting started.

Basically, blogs were first introduced as weblogs that refer to a “server’s log file.” It was created when web logging hit the virtual market. Since its inception in the mid-1990s, web logging gradually saturated the virtual community making the Internet a viable source of greater information.

However, with web logging, you still need a web site and domain names, but with blogging, you do not need anything but just an account with blog providers. In most cases, these kinds of blogs are free of charge.

With the onset of blogging in the industry, personal journaling had been a common ground for people who wish to be known all over the world. However, not literally famous as this is not a case on being popular or well-known personality.

Generally, blogs are created for personal use. Like a journal, people can write their daily adventures, sentiments, and whatever ideas they want to express online.

Nevertheless, with the advent of the online businesses, blogs had gradually taken the limelight in providing businesses a chance to boost their productivity online. This is where the business blogs have taken the limelight.

Business blogs are, basically, created to advertise the services or products of a certain web site or online business in order to increase online sales.

Moreover, business blogs are also one way of promoting the company so that the other readers will know that a certain company exists online. With blogs, entrepreneurs are able to establish a name in the virtual market through articles that can be very useful in the reader’s life.

From there, you can make money out of blogs by simply syndicating it to your business’ web site. This can be done through the RSS technology.

So, if you are thinking to create a blog, whether for business or for pleasure, you need to know some tips that could help you get through and make your blog one of the interesting blogs online.

Here’s how:

1. Consider your audience

Even if your blog is generally personal, still, it would be better to consider the minds of your readers. You have to think of something that would interest them.

After all, most of the reasons of people who write blogs are not at all confined to their own personal motives. Most of them would love to be “heard” (or read) and would love to be known, in some way or another, even for just a minute. Hence, it is very important to come with a write up that everybody can understand, not necessarily that these people can relate to it but they can understand it.

2. Pictures speaks a thousand words

To make your blogging worth the browsing effort of your readers, it would be extremely nice if you will put some pictures in it. It does not necessarily mean you have to place a picture of yourself. Any photographs will do as long as it does not pose danger or insult to anyone who will be reading your blog.

3. Make constructive and beneficial blogs

Even if you are free to write anything you want to say to the world, still, it would be better to create some write-ups that would be beneficial to your readers.

After all, its information technology that you have there so better be inclined to provide information rather than sheer quirky entertainment.

4. Avoid making multifaceted and complicated blogs

In order to have an interesting blogs, try not to use some highly technical and highfalutin words. After all, it is not a science discourse or a debate that you are making, so better stick to simple facts and short blogs.

Bear in mind that most people who use the Internet usually do more scanning than scrutinizing each site word for word. Therefore, it would be better to come with blogs that will not bore your readers just because you have these lengthy articles.

5. Make it interactive

As much as possible and if your capacity will allow it, make your blog interactive. You can do this by placing some video or audio clips in your blog.

You can even place an area for comments or for some feed backs. In this way, you can get some impressions or reactions of other people. Who knows, you might even gain some friends just by making them feel at home in your blog site.

Indeed, blogs are not created just for the mere fun of it. It also has its own purpose in the world of the Internet.
Therefore, for people who wish to harness their craft, as far as writing is concerned, blogs are the best way to do it.

As they say, blogging is the contemporary term of creative and commercial writing.

Local Marketing Ideas!

Hi Everyone,

We are all looking for ways to promote our businesses in the present economy.  I found this article and wanted to share it!

Actually, my friend Sheri Carpenter wrote it and published it on her site:

Sheri has a lot to offer, so visit her site above!

Fillers? What Exactly Are They?

I do a ton of offline marketing and one of the best ways I have found to market my business is by getting myself into different packages that go out in the form of a filler.
I take time every weekend to pass out Share Packs (formally called business packs) to over 100 residents and businesses in my area. All to often when I reach out to other business and tell them I am looking for fillers for my packs they reply with “What is a filler?” This to me is really surprising. So I am here to explain what a filler is and some different ways to get your fillers seen.
A filler can really be a number of different things. Typically they are business cards with something attached to them. The best way to do this is to get some small cello or organza bags where you can put a sample and business card inside or put the sample inside and attach the card to the outside. All to often when I ask for fillers I get an envelope filled with nothing but business cards. Now while promoting your business card for you is all well and good, typically people don’t have a reason to look at just a business card.
When thinking about putting fillers into bags that people pass out or even just packages that you are sending out you really want someone to look at what you put in that bag right? Well for me, if I get just a bag full of business cards, chances are i am not going to look at them , at least not right away. They will end up in a drawer somewhere or on the desk or counter and then eventually be thrown away because I had no real reason to look at them if I didn’t ask for them. So you really want to put some thought and creativity into your fillers that you send out.
Fillers can be pretty simple and don’t have to cost you a bundle. Typically when someone is looking for fillers they require a minimum of 25. So that isn’t really anything that is going to break your bank. You can use your business card with a sample attached if your company or you offer samples. You can use a business card with a piece of candy attached. There are also a million other things you can attach to them. But no matter what you send out always make sure you have your business card attached to it.
Here are some examples of things to attach to business cards for nice fillers. Most of these you can get at the everything is a dollar store or any dollar store, hobby lobby, walmart or even from other work at home people.
You can attach any of the following:
Candy
Samples
Pens or Pencils
Nail files
Magnets
Gift Certificates
Stickers
Chap Stick or small lip gloss
Small note pads
Tea lights or another small candle
Small toys for their children
Balloons
Small picture frames
Key Chains
And there are so many more options if you just look in different stores for little trinkets. You can also make them holiday themed and such. What ever you do make sure that what you are attaching is either a neutral item that can go with anything or something that can relate to your business.
Having different things attached to your business card makes all the difference. It gives people a reason to look at your card. I mean think about it if you have a soap business and you attach a small chunk of soap or a packet or container of liquid soap, they really might like it and look to call you to order more.
So that is basically it. That is what fillers are. The more creative you get the more your fillers will stand out. Now where can you send them you might ask? Well there are many different places you just have to know where to look. My favorite place to send mine to is The Sample Shoppe. They require a minimum of 25 and you must have a sample with your card to submit to them. And I also take them and put them in my packs I pass out on the weekends and in every package I mail out. You can email me to find out how to send to me.
I hope this has helped to fill some people in and give you some ideas. Don’t forget to stop by and check out how you can get into our printed newsletter that goes out every weekend too!!

Simplicity and Duplicity in Networking MLM

Hello To All My Women Biz Friends,

Are you enjoying working your MLM business in this new month of March?  I wanted to post some basics of network marketing today because there may be those who don’t realize some of this information!

After reading the post visit the website and request the free ebook to help you in building your business.

____________________________________________________________________
Ask some of the more successful MLM marketers and they will tell you that the key factor in networking MLM is simplicity.

Networking MLM is a very simple business. But keeping it simple does not mean that hard work is not involved. One of the common mistakes is that people try to make it complicated.

Even if a complex system achieved great results for you, others will find it difficult to copy. In networking MLM, personal success is not your greatest asset.

Your greatest asset is having a system that guarantees the success of everyone using it. The success of others, and your success, is dependant upon their ability to do the same things you do. Keep the least experienced of those in your network in mind when you set up a system of doing things for your organization to follow.

Everything you do must be simple enough so that everyone can quickly duplicate your efforts and achieve the same phenomenal results as you.

In MLM networking, you should not do things that require special skills, resources which are available only to you or to a limited number of people. Open up your business to a much larger pool of people who can become successful.
You need to build your network as quickly as possible. You can only meet with a few people each day and can personally close even fewer sales.

But using an MLM networking strategy, you can help others quickly learn to do the same simple things as you. When they do, they multiply your efforts.

Go for the same phenomenal results. This is quality duplication. Each person in your MLM networking, from top to bottom, must be able to exactly duplicate what you are doing and be able to teach others to do exactly the same thing. How large a sales team you can build depends on how well it is duplicated.

To ensure duplication, you need a system or processes that anybody and everybody can follow and teach. You cannot duplicate a person but you can duplicate a system.

In building a successful and long-term network, the MLM networking system must rule. Remember a system is only as good as it is duplicated.

The more complex a system, the less likely quality duplication will be achieved. To make sure you duplicate well, follow the System you are provided with religiously. There is no perfect system and your time is better spent perfecting your ability to duplicate it rather than perfecting a system.

Take this example. Ray Krocs, the founder of MacDonald’s cannot be duplicated but the MacDonald’s franchise system can be and is, to almost 100% perfection in  outlets worldwide.

Keeping it simple. To ensure you do things that your distributor can learn from and duplicate.

Is what I am doing easily duplicable?
Is it simple enough to be duplicated? Keep asking yourself this same questions and if you answer “yes” at least 75 % of the time, you are on the right track.

The most successful people in MLM networking business understand that everything must be kept simple in order to grow your business. Show others how simple it is to do what you do. They need to see you do it, and then believe it is simple enough for them to quickly duplicate to achieve the same good results in your MLM networking.

Networking Offline and Passive Marketing Locally

Hello to Everyone,

I have been sharing a lot lately about online marketing, social media marketing, etc. but today I will share regarding passive marketing.

There are a lot of net workers who just haven’t gotten the hang of internet marketing or don’t feel comfortable being online.  So, today, we will look at passive marketing in the local area.

I built my business by networking locally and doing a lot of passive marketing.  For those of you who may not know what passive marketing is – - when you leave a trail of fliers, business cards, etc. with your business information in different locations without really talking to people.  Also, you can tell a clerk, etc. you would like to give them one of your cards to share with others.  This creates curiosity causing that individual to look at your business.

There are many ways to be creative with what you hand out, post on bulletin boards, etc.  I am going to list a few ideas below that hopefully you will find helpful and fun in marketing in your local area or when you might be traveling!

————————————————————————————————————————-

#1. Take a small zip close baggie (snack sizes work well) and include the following in it:

Your Business Card, Business Oppty Mini Flyer, a Piece of Candy such as hard candy or a lollipop, mini flyer of current host specials, discount coupon (optional) etc.

Hand these out to the bank tellers, retail cashiers, at your kids sport events, every where you go!

*******************

2. Daycare Centers! They are excellent to contact and leave business cards and/or fliers at!

********************

#3. Network with others in your community who are in home business. Find out what events and activities that they participate in. They are usually “in the know” and can help you get started in networking in your community.

********************

4. Wear a business name tag every time you go out into your community! Get a Catchy Slogan printed on it such as:

A. Ask me about (your company name) Products!

B. I work from home, you can too!

C. Earn some FREE when you party with me!

***********************

#5. Get some Business Card Magnets printed up and hand them out every where you go! Have your friends & family pass them out too!  ( Visit: http://www.vistaprint.com)

**********************

#6. Get a Yard Sign! If you have a home business consider getting a Yard Sign printed up and proudly display it in your front yard!   (Visit:  http://www.vistaprint.com)

**********************

#7. Exchange Business Cards, Fliers or Coupons with another Home Party Consultant in a NON-Competing Business and place her filler in your bags & outgoing packages & have her do the same for you! Sort of “scratching each others backs”.

*************************

#8. When you travel take numerous catalogs, flyers, business cards etc. with you when you pack for your trip. Make up a separate tote bag just for these items. Leave you catalogs, flyers and business cards ever where you go while on your trip.

ie. back of train seats, back of airplane seats, hotel lobbies, restaurants, sporting events, etc…where-ever. This is a great way to target non-local customers and interest in your business.

I believe these 8 ideas will help you get started marketing successfully in the local market.  Do an internet search for local marketing ideas and you will be amazed at all that is shared.
